The mission of Cleantech for CEE is to empower innovators in solving two of Central and Eastern Europe's most pressing challenges: air pollution and climate change. Meet our team

Magdalena Jabłońska - professional with 20 years of experience as a business advisor, primarily in supporting innovation and R&D ventures. She began her career in innovation advisory at consulting firms such as Deloitte and PwC. Since 2016, she has been applying her expertise and passion for innovation at the Foundation for Tech Entrepreneurship, which significantly contributes to the development of the innovation ecosystem, particularly tech startups, through initiatives like the StartSmart CEE acceleration and incubation programs. Co-Head of the Cleantech for CEE initiative.

Bogusława (Bogy) Cimoszko Skowroński - serial entrepreneur, technology startups ecosystem builder, financier with experience from UBS AG, EBRD London, FFC Fincoord Ltd, VC and angel investing. Currently she is active at StartSmart CEE, Warsaw and at FounderPartners, Silicon Valley, where she is focused on helping European technical founders scale in the US. Graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Business School MBA. Co-Head of the Cleantech for CEE initiative.

Mirosław Janik - seasoned management expert, investor, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in financial, technology and renewable energy sectors. Harvard Business School and INSEAD alumnus. Former Vice President of Wincor Nixdorf GmbH and current leader in renewable energy sector. Co-founder of International Leaders Forum Foundation, mentor to startups, and recipient of 2020 Business Angel Award. Director of Cleantech for CEE project.

Nikol Solarova - professional with an experience in Business Development and European Institutions communication, utilizing her insights to drive green industrial strategies in Central Europe, particularly in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Nikol plays a key role in fostering partnerships and supporting collaboration with key stakeholders in Slovakia to enhance and build a robust innovation ecosystem, focusing on sustainable solutions, circular economy projects, and the green transition. Project Manager for Czechia and Slovakia.

Jakub Kalbarczyk - professional with experience in marketing, public relations, and business development. He has worked in startups, agencies, and NGOs, developing a versatile skillset spanning strategic communications, stakeholder management, and growth optimization. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science at Minerva University. Project Manager for Poland, mostly responsible for PR, marketing and organizational aspects of projects.
Part of the Cleantech for Europe Umbrella
Cleantech for CEE builds on the success of Cleantech for Europe, established in 2021 to unite cleantech investors and EU policymakers. The initiative has advocated for improved funding and market demand through a coalition of 20+ European cleantech VCs.
Following this model, Cleantech for CEE connects regional innovators with policymakers to accelerate clean technology development and deployment. We drive collaboration between regional initiatives while providing input into national and EU-level policy debates.
